Principal Door System Designer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Design Engineer to join our team. As a Lead Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of door systems for transit applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret existing designs and propose alternatives for obsolescence and spare part needs
• Apply GD T and perform stack-up analysis
• Lead engineering change requests for product improvements
• Define weld specifications per BS EN 15085 and BS EN ISO 2553
Requirements:
• Bachelor s Master s degree in Mechanical Automotive or STEM disciplines
• 8 years of experience in door system design for trains automotive aerospace or similar industries
• Expertise in kinematic design conveyor belts actuators robotics and motor selection
• Strong understanding of manufacturing methods and processes
