The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the smooth functioning of our server infrastructure.
Specifically, you will be tasked with monitoring key parameters such as CPU usage, memory allocation, hard disk space, and log file sizes on a regular schedule. Any performance issues that exceed predetermined thresholds will need to be reported to the appropriate teams for prompt resolution.
You will also be responsible for verifying the successful completion of scheduled tasks on the system, rerunning failed tasks, and reporting technical errors to L2/L3 teams for further assistance.
A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to monitoring email, Teams channels, and ticketing systems for new items or tickets. You will then provide an initial response to these items, gathering additional details from relevant stakeholders as necessary.
To reproduce complex issues in our testing environment, you will work closely with L2 team members. Once resolved, you will validate issue fixes based on customer-provided inputs.
Requirements include 3+ years of customer-facing experience, having managed either application or infrastructure support at the L1 level for at least 3 years. SailPoint or IAM system support experience is highly valued. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as proficiency in Java and scripting languages.
Experience in handling customer-related queries, providing required support, and doing customer-issue-based validation is also crucial. A strong background in technical writing, combined with oral and written responses within defined SLA periods, is desirable.
