Job Role: Electrical Systems Specialist

About the Opportunity:

This role requires a skilled professional to oversee and manage electrical systems across various campus facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and operation of electrical equipment including 10MW substations, transformers, HT & LT panels, DGs of different capacities, and UPS systems.
  • Management of solar systems and cooling systems, including daily checklists, breakdown rectification, and new system handovers.
  • Supervision of elevator maintenance and servicing through AMC vendors, including vendor coordination and logbook management.
  • Overseeing AMC renewals and maintenance of UPS systems across the campus.
  • Coordinating electrical installations, including new lift installations, classroom renovations, and electrical project oversight.
  • Supporting electrical fault rectification and ensuring diesel delivery for new campus buildings.
  • Preparing and sharing project reports and summaries.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Experience: 4–10 years of relevant work experience

Technical Skills:

  1. Elevator maintenance & upkeep
  2. Electrical equipment troubleshooting
  3. Project supervision & electrical installation

This role requires strong technical skills, with a focus on elevator maintenance, electrical equipment troubleshooting, and project supervision. A degree in Electrical Engineering and 4-10 years of relevant experience are required.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain accurate records. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also essential.
