Financial Intelligence Analyst

Our team is seeking an experienced Financial Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic organization. This key role will be responsible for identifying and monitoring suspicious activities, ensuring timely reporting of transactions, and escalating potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily assessments of AML alerts, ensuring markets are aware of outstanding alerts
  • Escalate positive hits to the AML Supervisor/MLRO and report on monthly AML alert verification
  • Review transaction monitoring alerts in line with prescribed procedures and follow recommended standard investigation steps
  • Assess the relevance of geographies of remitters and beneficiaries of transactions
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks through transaction monitoring trends

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a financial services environment
  • Knowledge of AML best practices and compliance regulations
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong written and verbal communication skills
