Are you a seasoned professional seeking a challenging role that leverages your expertise in credit risk modeling and management?

We are looking for an experienced Principal/Subject Matter Expert to lead consulting engagements with leading financial institutions, focusing on IFRS 9 model development, ECL computation, and enhancing the approach to ECL and provisions.

  • Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in credit risk modeling, including default and recovery rate modeling, as well as proficiency in various methodologies used for modeling default rates, credit scores, and recovery rates.
  • The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive day-to-day execution of client projects and lead hiring and mentoring initiatives to expand and upskill our execution and delivery team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage consulting engagements with financial institutions, covering areas such as IFRS 9 model development, ECL computation, and enhancements to ECL and provisions.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of credit risk modeling concepts, including default and recovery rate modeling, to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to meet client needs, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop business strategies and growth plans, identifying opportunities to enhance our services and capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters or Ph.D. degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in credit risk modeling and management, preferably with a focus on IFRS 9 and ECL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive informed decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of driving high-performing teams and achieving business objectives.
