Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional to join our retail team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and ledger entries
  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and management information system reports
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing and reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, ITR, and other statutory requirements
  • Manage inventory accounting and cost analysis
  • Support audits with proper documentation
  • Generate reports as needed by management
  • Process entries such as contra, journal, receipt, and payment
  • Work with teams to optimize costs and improve processes
  • Follow accounting standards and company policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • 2–3 years of accounting experience, must have worked under a certified accountant or in a certified public accounting firm
  • Proficient in tally (knowledge of Zoho or other enterprise resource planning tools is a plus)
  • Good understanding of AP/AR, GST, MIS reporting, and compliances
  • Experience with inventory accounting is preferred (fresh produce domain is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
