Embedded Cybersecurity Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems and a proven track record of ensuring the security of software development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with our team to design, implement, and maintain secure runtime codebases for industrial automation.
  2. Provide guidance on Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) best practices and ensure compliance with internal and external cybersecurity standards.
  3. Evaluate and resolve product and runtime cybersecurity issues, including tracking and resolving technical debt in 3rd party packages.
  4. Manage and utilize tools for static and dynamic code analysis, as well as Software Composition Analysis, to identify vulnerabilities and improve overall security posture.
  5. Ensure timely detection of abnormalities through regular scans and monitoring of changes, with a focus on trending upwards.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
  • 8-12 years' experience in code development for multitask embedded systems running in Linux, VxWorks/RTOS, and Windows.
  • Seasoned programming skills with object-oriented design (C/C++) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell, PowerShell).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity issues common to C/C++, Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures, and IEC 62443-4-2.
  • Familiarity with Open-source software (OSS), Git, GitHub, Debian GNU/Linux, Ubuntu.
  • Demonstrate ability to work with cross-functional and global teams, aligning and bringing best-in-class processes and coding standards.
