About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer with expertise in Azure Data Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in SQL development and hands-on experience in SSIS or Azure Data Factory (ADF). This role focuses on building, optimizing, and maintaining robust data solutions to support business operations and analytics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and optimizing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support data processing and reporting.
  • Designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS or Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Performing data modeling, database design, and query performance tuning.
  • Managing data workflows between on-premise systems and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Ensuring high performance, availability, and reliability of data solutions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable data pipelines.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation for processes, data models, and technical solutions.

The successful candidate should possess:

  • Strong experience in SQL Server development (T-SQL, indexing, query optimization).
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building data pipelines.
  • Proficient in ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data transformation.
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts, data quality, and error handling.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to Azure Synapse Analytics or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, or Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Power BI or SSRS reporting tools.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the software industry.
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in CS/IT, or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
