Transform Your Career as a DevOps Engineer

We're seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to lead our team in delivering high-quality software solutions. As a key member of our engineering staff, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation tools and processes to streamline our software development lifecycle.

A Day in the Life:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement IaC (Infrastructure as Code) using Terraform, ensuring end-to-end automation of our platform.
  • Develop and maintain the Internal Development Platform (IDP) built on Port, providing clients with real-time self-service capabilities to run and manage their own development teams.
  • Partner with global engineering teams to establish best practices for CI/CD, Observability, and cost optimization.
  • Mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of automation, innovation, and excellence.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.
  • Participate in rapid Proof-of-Concept (POC) solutions and services that quickly get added to production.
  • Work closely with the security and identity access team to ensure secure interfaces and access specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Site Reliability Engineering Team (SRE) to develop full observability, monitoring, and self-healing for the platform.
  • Engage with stakeholders and clients to drive value creation and business success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Experience writing IaC using Terraform or OpenTofu, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
  • Strong expertise in Containerization and Orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes in On-prem and Cloud environments.
  • Experience in developing backend services using Python or Go.
  • Familiarity with Argo CD, Flux CD, Helm, and cloud computing in AWS or Azure.
  • Oversight of CI/CD pipeline design and optimization using Yaml.
  • Establishing automated testing, security scanning, and compliance integration into pipelines.
  • Defining observability strategies using monitoring/logging/alerting platforms.
  • Implementing SRE practices (SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, chaos engineering, incident response playbooks).
  • Championing security practices such as secrets management, policy enforcement, vulnerability scanning, and zero-trust architecture.
  • Ability to learn new technologies at a rapid pace and adapt to changing requirements.
