Structural Designers play a crucial role in creating 3D models and production drawings that meet industry standards.

As a Structural Designer, you will be responsible for:

  • Produce high-quality 3D models consistent with client requirements, industry guidelines, and design standards.
  • Annotate, dimension, and detail 2D production drawings to ensure accuracy and conformance to design standards.
  • Manage the BIM workflow including folder organization, sheet sets, geo-location, plots, conversions, and transmittals.
  • Maintain structural BIM / CAD files for use in the structural design drawings (clean-up, audit, reference, troubleshooting).
  • Collaborate with engineers and clients to coordinate BIM modeling content and approaches, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery.
  • Use tools such as Navisworks for project collaboration across multiple disciplines.
Requirements:
  • 0-3 years of experience in preparing structural construction documents using Revit/BIM project delivery.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with Revit software.
  • Strong understanding of building construction processes.
  • Ability to think in 3-D and draw sections and details with minimal input from engineers.
  • Proficiency with written and verbal communication skills.
