About the Position

We are seeking skilled professionals with a strong background in steel structural detailing using Tekla Structures. Ideal candidates must have at least 5 years' experience working on steel detailing projects, and should be proficient in reading architectural and structural drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create precise 3D models for steel structures using Tekla Structures software.
  • Generate detailed fabrication and erection drawings, material lists, and reports to meet project specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure compliance with client requirements.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve modeling conflicts efficiently.
  • Implement revisions based on client feedback or field changes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality drawings and models.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Tekla Structures software.
  • In-depth knowledge of steel detailing, fabrication standards, and connection design principles.
  • Strong understanding of international building codes (AISC, BS, AS, IS, OSHA).
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with point cloud to model conversion techniques.
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination tools and Navisworks software.
  • Diploma or degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
