Cloud Architect Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect Leader to drive our platform engineering efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-native platforms.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Leverage cloud infrastructure to develop and communicate a clear platform vision for business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business, and security) to define priorities and solve challenges
  • Create end-to-end data pipelines utilizing AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and SageMaker.
  • Implement data product storage, processing, and APIs using AWS-native tools and serverless architectures.
  • Apply fine-grained access control and secure data sharing across domains using AWS Lake Formation.
  • Design multi-tenant, domain-oriented data lakes and integrate with Redshift Spectrum / Athena for distributed querying.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK) for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
  • Drive platform governance, ensuring compliance with security and operational standards.
  • Mentor team members on secure coding practices, compliance, and architectural principles.
  • Lead design reviews and technical discussions to ensure secure and scalable implementations.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in platform engineering, data architect, data engineering, or solution architecture.
  • Strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-native platforms.
  • Proven track record in designing and managing multi-tenant systems on AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud, Big data and Analytics ecosystem (Airflow, Spark, Python, Flink, AWS Batch, S3, Athena, ECS-Fargate, SQS).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Advanced skills in Terraform (IaC).
  • Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
