Job Title: IT General Controls Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT General Controls (ITGC) professional to join our risk and compliance team. As an ITGC expert, you will be responsible for leading design and assessment of IT controls across various business applications, databases, operating systems, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform design effectiveness testing of IT General Controls to ensure they are adequate and effective in mitigating risks.
  • Lead ITGC control framework design and assessment across business applications, databases, operating systems, and cloud environments to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct Test of Design – Review control documentation and process flows to assess adequacy of control design.
  • Conduct Test of Effectiveness – Evaluate control operating effectiveness through evidence inspection and system testing.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify gaps, deficiencies, and risks in IT processes; recommend improvements and remediation strategies.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in ITGC or IT Risk & Controls.
  • Strong knowledge of IT processes, ITIL, COBIT, SOX, SOC frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in execution for applications, databases, infrastructure, and cloud.
  • Expertise in identity & access management, change management, IT operations controls, and cybersecurity.
  • Proficiency in working with audit tools.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
