Precision Parts Fabrication Specialist

Job Overview:

A skilled Laser Cutting Machine Operator is required to manage the setup and operation of laser cutting machines, ensuring precision parts and components are manufactured efficiently.

• Machine Setup: Ensure laser equipment is calibrated and configured for optimal performance.
• Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating moving parts, to prevent equipment failure and downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate laser cutting machines to cut and shape various materials, including metals and plastics.
• Configure machine settings, including speed, power, and beam focus, to achieve desired cut quality and accuracy.
• Monitor and troubleshoot machine operation, making adjustments as needed to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to maintain equipment efficiency.
• Collaborate with production team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet production targets.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment.
• Strong understanding of machine operation and maintenance principles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
