Job Description

A Fortune 50 client is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join their Data Management Operations team. The successful candidate will have expertise in acting as a Scrum Master within enterprise environments, preferably within application development, enterprise migrations, or data warehouse/data engineering Agile teams.

The team focuses on ensuring timely delivery for large-scale enterprise data warehouse migration projects. They are sunsetting Teradata and transitioning to Azure data warehouse. This involves collaboration across Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Modeling, and Data Science lines of business.

Project work combines onshore and offshore developers, requiring efficient time management skills for success. This remote position is based in India, with a flexible schedule allowing for 8 hours of work between 10am IST and 10pm IST.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience as a Scrum Master in an enterprise-level software release environment (ideally 5+ years)
  • Agile and/or SAFe expertise and best practices
  • Prior experience working in a Data Analytics organization and/or managing data engineering/data science teams, BI, data warehousing, or cloud (more Paas or SaaS) migrations
  • Proficient in ADO
  • Basic SQL skills (will accept proficiency in MS Access)
  • Experience in Azure cloud preferred; will accept expertise in alternate cloud providers
  • Able to manage teams in dispersed geographic locations
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Proactive approach
