Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumbing Engineer to join our team in the design, coordination, and implementation of plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and firefighting systems for various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design appropriate plumbing systems for the project.
  • Perform calculations as directed by senior engineer.
  • Design plumbing system layouts, including pipe sizing and equipment selection.
  • Knowledge of International Plumbing design codes.
  • Knowledge of Revit and ability to work in BIM environment.
  • Conduct heat load calculations using tools like HAP to determine heating and cooling requirements for buildings.
  • Design HVAC systems including water-cooled and air-cooled chiller plants, Variable Refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, Direct Expansion (DX) systems, etc.
  • Select equipment based on project specifications.
  • Calculate ventilation requirements, pressurization needs, smoke management systems, pump head calculations, external static pressure, and sizing ducts and pipes.
  • Design fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and hydrants, according to national and international codes.
  • Perform hydraulic calculations for sprinkler systems, ensuring proper coverage and compliance with safety standards.
  • Design and layout fire detection and alarm systems, ensuring integration with other building services.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or master's in mechanical.
  • Experience: 8 to 15 years in Plumbing/HVAC & Firefighting.
