Manufacturing Operations Specialist

 

Job Description:

  • Transform product design and quality requirements into manufacturing inputs by collaborating with OEM partners, interpreting engineering drawings and documents.
  • Create and maintain assembly documentation, including SOPs and APBs, to ensure smooth translation into procurement and production requirements.
  • Manage Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes, implement changes in production, and drive timely closure by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare, update, and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products, creating part numbers for components in BOM, and monitor End-of-Life (EOL) status of products.
  • Track and manage obsolescence of components, particularly electrical items, and proactively alert the engineering team when required.
  • Coordinate development projects from prototype to mass production phases within Acsys and with OEM-Partner, verifying and ensuring all NPI specifics information/documents are released in JIRA/Confluence.
  • Manage data integrity within Jira/Confluence and ensure availability with OEM-Partner. Participate in ISO audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Lead pilot builds, resolve issues quickly, and establish repeatable processes for production scaling. Collaborate with product, design, supply chain, vendor, and manufacturing teams to ensure on-time and seamless product launches.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional stakeholders. Possess knowledge of product certification requirements such as EN, FCC, CE, and PESO (advantageous).

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in NPI / Manufacturing / Program Management
  2. Strong knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing processes, and quality standards
  3. Proven experience working with vendors, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional teams

Education:

B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Production Engineering
