Job Title: ABAP Professional

Job Description:

A leading role is available in our team for a skilled ABAP professional to play a vital part in the development, support and optimization of SAP systems by writing efficient and high-quality code. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements, enhance functionalities and optimize existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test and deploy custom ABAP programs, reports, forms and interfaces to meet specific business needs.
  • Analyze business user requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ABAP implementation.
  • Implement SAP enhancements using user exits, BADI and enhancement points to support business processes.
  • Collaborate with other consultants from various SAP modules (e.g. MM, SD, FICO) to ensure smooth integration and data flow between systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP programming. Perform debugging and root cause analysis to ensure system efficiency.
  • Test and validate the functionality of custom ABAP programs to identify any bugs or issues.
  • Review and optimize existing ABAP programs to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Create technical documentation for custom programs, interfaces and enhancements to facilitate future maintenance and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in ABAP programming including hands-on experience with ALV, ABAP reports, SmartForms, SAPscript and IDocs.
  • Understanding of various SAP modules and their integration with ABAP.
  • Experience with SAP enhancements, user exits, BADI and enhancement points.
  • Strong debugging skills in SAP with ability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.
