ServiceNow Developer Position

Job Description:

As a ServiceNow developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing efficient workflows that align with business objectives. Your expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules and Discovery implementation will be instrumental in streamlining our operations.

You will work closely with product owners and stakeholders to analyze business needs and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions. This involves collaborating on projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless integration of ServiceNow features and resolving any technical issues that may arise during the development process.

  • Configure and update Discovery schedules to monitor daily runs for errors and troubleshoot issues that may affect CI identification and population.
  • Enhance Discovery probes and patterns to support complex infrastructure and cloud environments, enabling us to stay ahead of the curve in terms of technology adoption.
  • Continuously improve the ServiceNow platform through iterative enhancements, user feedback incorporation, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system functionality.
  • Customize form layouts, fields, and user interfaces to support data consistency and usability across modules, providing a seamless experience for users.
  • Tailor and extend CAB Workbench functionality to support automated workflows and board operations, enhancing operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain robust REST/SOAP API integrations with external systems to facilitate seamless data exchange and minimize manual intervention.
  • Manage Scheduled Jobs, Script Includes, Business Rules, and automation scripts to streamline operations and reduce the risk of errors or inefficiencies.
  • Customize the Employee Center portal to improve branding, content delivery, and user engagement, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Design and publish reports and dashboards to support performance tracking and operational transparency, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues using advanced scripting skills and resolve defects promptly to minimize downtime and ensure high system availability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant ServiceNow training in ITSM, Discovery, and scripting modules to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Experience with form customization, API integration, and dashboard/report creation to ensure seamless integration of ServiceNow features.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting platform issues and scripting errors to minimize downtime and ensure high system availability.
