Job Description

At Palo Alto Networks, we're seeking a highly skilled Professional Services Consultant/Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Network Security Professional Services India & SAARC team, you'll play a crucial role in designing and delivering Next-Generation solutions for our customers.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing custom security policies and application signatures for unique client environments
  • Consulting and guiding customers on security best practices methodologies and acting as a trusted advisor for clients on behalf of Palo Alto Networks
  • Analyzing logs and events from the solution and supplying threat analysis reports, providing input and direction as applicable
  • Working proactively with our Technical Assistance Center to troubleshoot and diagnose cases as escalations arise
  • Maintaining the implemented solution and providing mentorship on code upgrades, changes to the platform, and new technology developments
  • Collaborating with sales account teams to formulate technical strategies to address customer business needs
  • Supporting direct managers in managing business needs through weekly reports and Quarterly Business Reviews

As a successful candidate, you'll have:

  • 4-Year Engineering Degree / BS in Computer Science, MIS, business, or equivalent education/training/experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in document creation
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with firewall and IDS/IPS solutions in large environments
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation, configuration, and operation of Palo Alto Networks products
  • Extensive knowledge of various security threats
  • A strong understanding of Internet protocols and applications

Additional requirements include:

  • Candidates should hold the latest industry-leading cybersecurity certifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of industry experience
