Job Description

As a seasoned Digital Forensic Technician (DFT), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our design process. You will work closely with ASIC design teams to guarantee that Design for Testability (DFT) principles are thoroughly embedded in our designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure DFT design rules and coverages are consistently met.
  • Develop high-quality manufacturing ATPG test patterns for stuck-at (SAF), transition fault (TDF) models using advanced on-chip test compression techniques.
  • Conduct thorough MBIST verification, including repair, through Mentor tools.
  • Perform ATPG (SAF, TDF) and MBIST verification utilizing unit delay and min/max timing corner simulations.
  • Work seamlessly with Product/Test engineering teams to deliver reliable manufacturing test patterns for ATE.
  • Support post-silicon debug efforts and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Generate Diagnostic Tools for ATPG, MBIST, and bring-up on ATE.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain scripts as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • 4-12 years' experience in ASIC/DFT - simulation and silicon validation.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one full-chip DFT project.
  • Detailed knowledge of DFT concepts, pattern simulation, silicon debug, and yield enhancement.
  • Experience with memory verification, repair, and failure root-cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in tools such as ATPG - TestKompress, MBIST - MentorETVerify, Simulation - VCS (preferred), ModelSim.
  • Scripting languages like Perl, shell, etc. (added advantage).
