International Education Counselor Opportunity

Job Description

The role of an International Education Counselor is to guide students through the process of finding and applying for overseas education opportunities. This involves conducting structured interviews to assess a student's communication skills, academic motivation, and overall suitability for international study programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct telephonic/virtual interviews with students applying for study abroad programs.
  • Evaluate students' communication skills, confidence, academic clarity, and career goals.
  • Record interview outcomes and provide structured feedback to the admissions/recruitment team.
  • Verify student information and ensure authenticity of application details.
  • Guide students regarding interview etiquette, common questions, and documentation where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of interviews and student interactions in the database.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with students confidently.
  • Ability to evaluate students objectively and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with technology (MS Office, Zoom/Google Meet, CRM).
