UI Motion Designer Job Description

We're seeking a creative UI motion designer to bring digital interfaces to life with engaging animations, transitions, and micro-interactions.

You'll collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to create seamless user experiences that feel smooth, delightful, and memorable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create interactive UI elements, transitions, and micro-interactions for apps, websites, and digital products.
  • Design product walkthroughs, demo videos, and animated prototype screens to showcase features and flows.
  • Develop motion concepts and storyboard ideas with the team to bring stories to life visually.
  • Evaluate motion graphics to ensure they enhance usability and align with our design system.
  • Optimize animations for performance across devices and platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Solid experience in motion design, animation for digital products, or UI/UX animation (2–5 years preferred).
  • Proficiency with key motion and prototyping tools such as After Effects, Figma (Smart Animate), Principle, ProtoPie, Lottie, or similar.
  • A portfolio showcasing UI motion, animated product walkthroughs, or similar digital work.
  • Strong visual and storytelling skills to turn concepts into polished visuals.
  • Good understanding of design systems, typography, and layout principles.
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working with designers and developers.
