About the Role

Our organization is developing a new initiative focused on stablecoin payments in APAC, where we have a strong presence.

This initiative has shown significant market traction through early experiments and customer interactions.

Job Overview

As an Engineering Lead/Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering efforts for the entire stablecoin initiative.

You'll lead a small team of engineers while staying hands-on to build scalable and secure backend systems.

A key aspect of this role will involve designing and maintaining integrations with various on/off-ramp providers across different geographies.

  • Develop backend infrastructure for web and mobile applications
  • Create solid, reliable architectures powering payments and settlements
  • Build robust infrastructures on top of fragmented provider APIs across markets
  • Lead technical discussions and own architecture for integrations and scalability
  • Mentor and manage a small team of engineers across infrastructure and application layers
  • Ensure security, scalability, and regulatory compliance in your approach
  • Owning delivery timelines and establishing engineering best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in backend engineering
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js, and API design
  • Familiarity with fintech or payments industries preferred
  • Experience building integrations with external APIs/partners across geographies
  • Track record of leading small teams and scaling early-stage systems
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and take ownership of projects
