Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional to join our team as an Associate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and analytical skills, with the ability to comprehend and resolve complex queries and processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare bank reconciliations for different regions and follow up on open items, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
  • Source system to GL reconciliation, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions to maintain data integrity.
  • Prepare journals for all Treasury related activities, including money market deposits, FX, bank charges, interest earned and charged, zero balance journals, manual payment journals and other cash related journals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Cash flow forecast and liquidity management for various entities, providing strategic insights to inform business decisions.
  • Liaise with banks for various types of queries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Familiar with cheque clearing process of various banks and reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Familiar with Escheatment process, adhering to statutory requirements and maintaining accurate records.
  • Shared mailbox management, ensuring prompt response to stakeholder inquiries and resolutions to customer complaints.
  • Analyze intercompany balances, following up for intercompany balances settlement & posting journals, and review of Intercompany Reconciliations and affiliate corrections.
  • Interaction with Stakeholders at various locations, building relationships and communicating effectively.
  • Process documentation & adhering to all audit related controls, maintaining a robust control environment.

Requirements:
  • Graduate/Post-Graduate (Commerce) with relevant years of experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Good Communication, analytical skills and able to comprehend and resolve complex queries and processes, working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in analyzing large data sets, extracting insights and informing business decisions.
  • Excellent Accounting skills, with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Flexible with work timings and ready to work in extended working hours especially during month and quarter end close, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet stringent delivery timelines, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.

Desired Skills:
  • Able to contribute and drive continuous process improvements programs, leveraging expertise and experience to enhance business operations.
  • Outstanding in MS Excel and having knowledge about MS Access, Power query and Macro would be an added advantage, applying technical skills to solve complex problems.
  • Knowledge of Oracle application preferred, with experience in designing and implementing solutions to improve business efficiency.
