    • Staying updated with the latest drug information, including new medications, dosage forms, and potential drug interactions, and providing evidence-based information to other healthcare professionals and patients.
    • Overseeing pharmacy operations to ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, proper inventory management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Preparing customized medications in some settings, especially in hospital or specialty pharmacy settings.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Extensive knowledge of pharmacology, including medication therapy and disease management.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex medication-related issues.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to pharmacy practice.
