Job Title: Senior Trade Compliance Professional

We seek a seasoned professional with a strong background in Import and Export activities within India.

  • ">
  • Manage all aspects of import and export operations, ensuring smooth and compliant movement of goods.">
  • Ensure compliance with pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation requirements.">
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics partners to ensure timely clearances.">

EoU Compliance & Returns:

  • ">
  • Serve as the primary expert on EoU-related compliances and regulations.">
  • Prepare and file mandated returns specific to EoU operations.">
  • Liaise effectively with Customs and government authorities for EoU-related matters.">

GST Compliance & Audit:

  • ">
  • Possess a thorough understanding of India's Goods and Services Tax laws and regulations.">
  • Reconcile GST data with financial records and identify discrepancies.">
  • Prepare and file accurate and timely GST returns, including monthly, quarterly, and annual returns.">

Government Incentives Compliance:

  • ">
  • Manage compliance for government incentives such as Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS) and Rebate of Duties & Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP).">

Stakeholder Coordination & Leadership:

  • ">
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and compliance.">
  • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities in guiding cross-functional teams on trade compliance matters.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Minimum 7-12 years of progressive experience in import and export activities.">
  • Mandatory: Proven experience working in an Export Oriented Unit (EoU) with a comprehensive understanding of EoU compliances and returns.">
  • Mandatory: In-depth knowledge of Indian Customs Act, Customs Tariff Act, Foreign Trade Policy, and other relevant trade regulations.">
  • Mandatory: Strong knowledge of India GST laws, regulations, returns, and audit procedures.">
