Sourcing and Development Expert

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Excellence Leader to oversee the entire program in terms of sourcing, development, and qualification of critical components required for project success.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the complete program in terms of sourcing, development, and qualification of part references necessary for product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Project Management, Design Engineering, and Category Management for the optimal selection of suppliers and introduction of innovative technologies as required.
- Responsible for the overall product cost strategy, leading negotiations with suppliers, suggesting alternatives, and driving internal and external stakeholders to meet project timelines and costs.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders for the prototype build and later transition to regular production.
- Mitigate risk by identifying suitable component sources and suppliers and their manufacturing origins.
- Post-Pilot runs, ensure seamless handover of all Purchasing Contracts to the Regular procurement team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience preferably from the renewable energy sector.
- Preferred candidates have experience working with Solar Edge and Enphase products.
