Nursing Department Lead Position

The primary objective of this role is to provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and efficient operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the nursing department, including scheduling, resource allocation, and patient flow.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage resources effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Address patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Stay current with advancements in nursing practice and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (essential);
  • Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice;
  • Experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a hospital or health center setting;
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of nurses;
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices;
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficiency in electronic health records systems;
