Job Overview

  • Transform data warehousing and ETL processes by migrating them to cloud environments.
  • Design, develop, and implement efficient ETL/ELT pipelines in Snowflake and dbt.
  • Optimize workflows for performance and cost-efficiency on the Snowflake platform.
  • Establish data quality, governance, and security standards within the new platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Develop best practices for data modeling, CI/CD, and version control using Git.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot complex data integration and warehouse performance issues.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Deep expertise in migrating data platforms to cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Teradata and Informatica.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Snowflake, including performance tuning and platform administration.
  • Strong experience with dbt for data transformation, testing, and documentation.
  • Exceptional proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language.
  • Experience with cloud services and setting up data ingestion from various sources.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
