We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to take full ownership of designing and managing the backend architecture for scalable web/mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the entire backend architecture from planning to deployment, focusing on building reliable, high-performance solutions for user-centric products.
  • Develop user authentication and authorization systems using industry best practices (JWT, OTP-based login, session management).
  • Implement logic and algorithms for user discovery, preference-based filters, and chat/messaging systems with real-time capabilities.
  • Design and manage MongoDB schema optimized for high-performance matchmaking and chat use cases, ensuring secure tokenized API access.
  • Handle media uploads securely via cloud storage and implement analytics hooks for key user actions and behavior tracking.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to set up CI/CD, monitoring, and auto-scaling backend infrastructure, managing environment configurations securely.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in backend development with Node.js, Firebase, and MongoDB.
  • Strong understanding of token-based authentication and security practices.
  • Experience building scalable, real-time chat or messaging systems.
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD, monitoring, and application scaling.
