Water Treatment Expertise Job Description

As a Water Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering top-line revenue growth in your assigned geography.

The key accountabilities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Driving volume growth through new customer acquisitions
  • Increasing share of wallet by cross-selling new applications to existing accounts
  • SUPPORTING strategic business initiatives by promoting innovations and penetrating new customer segments
  • Promoting the full range of products and applications to all customers
  • Capturing all new growth opportunities in Salesforce and updating on a weekly basis
  • Conducting customer site trials, enlisting application specialists as needed
  • Delivering service excellence by meeting performance and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) promises to customers
  • Capture and communicate the value delivered through the Value Advantage process
  • Building multi-level relationships at all customer accounts
  • Implementing price increase plans effectively
  • Providing first-level technical problem-solving support at customer sites

Additionally, this role requires:

  • Focusing on timely accounts receivable (AR) collections
  • Ensuring accurate sales forecasting
  • Growing sales with existing distributors
  • Expanding market coverage by appointing new distributors in new geographies and segments
  • Tracking and analyzing secondary sales
  • Focusing on measuring Return on Investment (ROI) generated for distributors
  • Tracking market trends and competitor activities regularly

This role also involves collaboration with various functions, including Industrial Solutions business leadership, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, R&D, Procurement, etc., as per business needs. The ideal candidate should have a technical background in Engineering or Science, with relevant experience in the Industrial Water Treatment segment.
