Job Title: Remote Desktop Support Specialist

About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Remote Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our users across different time zones.

Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, as well as maintaining logs of support requests and system updates.

  • Provide round-the-clock technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Monitor and respond to incidents via ticketing system within SLA timelines.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and escalate unresolved issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support users across different time zones and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Maintain logs of shift activities and handover reports for continuity.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams for coordinated support.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications.
  • Respond to user tickets and resolve issues related to Windows, Mac, or Linux environments.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both onsite and remotely.
  • Assist in setting up new systems and user accounts.
  • Train users on basic IT procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
