Job Title: Technical Leadership Role for Backend Development

As a Technical Lead, you will oversee the development of scalable Python-based applications from end-to-end. This includes designing, implementing, and deploying high-quality software solutions.

You will work with cross-functional teams to integrate React-based frontends with backend services. Additionally, you will collaborate with data platforms, including Impala for querying and Autosys for job scheduling.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of developers to ensure timely completion of projects;
  • Ensuring code quality, performance, and security standards are met across all development efforts;
  • Driving agile development practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD);
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs;

Requirements for this role include:

  • A minimum of 15 years of total experience, with 10+ years of hands-on experience in advanced Python development and design patterns;
  • Strong expertise in MongoDB, Redis, Fast API, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes;
  • Solid understanding of React Framework and frontend-backend integration;
  • Familiarity with Impala, Autosys, and distributed systems;
  • Proven leadership in managing mid-sized engineering teams;
  • Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is essential.
