The position of a senior system administrator is an exciting opportunity for highly skilled individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results.

Job Summary

We seek a senior system administrator to join our organization and play a key role in the seamless functioning of our IT systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, ensuring the integrity and availability of hardware/software resources, and collaborating with various departments to achieve shared goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via phone, email, and web portal.
  • Provision new hires with necessary hardware and software, including system setup and configuration.
  • Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Utilize remote tools and diagnostic utilities to troubleshoot and resolve support requests.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level when remote tools are insufficient.
  • Install and configure hardware and software components throughout various network infrastructure devices.
  • Ensure antivirus software is installed and up-to-date on all systems.
  • Administer servers via Active Directory, File and Print services, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Maintain network firewalls and switches, performing routine administration and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals.

Requirements:
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, Server 2022, and Mac OS.
  • Ability to write proposals for technical solutions to fulfill business needs.
  • Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and experience in its administration.
