Job Description

As a seasoned platform engineer, you will be responsible for designing and deploying scalable APIGEE Hybrid runtime environments on Kubernetes clusters. Your expertise in cloud-native infrastructure automation will help drive our company's growth.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing APIGEE Hybrid runtime components, including Message Processors, Synchronizers, and Cassandra clusters within Kubernetes. You will also automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Terraform and Helm charts.

Proficiency in scripting with Bash/Shell and Python is essential. Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments, as well as DevOps & CI/CD tools, is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy scalable APIGEE Hybrid runtime environments on Kubernetes clusters (GKE, AKS, or on-prem).
  • Manage APIGEE runtime components, including Message Processors, Synchronizers, and Cassandra clusters.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Terraform and Helm charts.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash/Shell and Python to streamline deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
Required Skills and QualificationsAPIGEE Expertise:
  • Strong experience with APIGEE Hybrid platform deployment and runtime management.
  • Familiarity with APIGEE X and API management concepts.
  • Experience with API proxy development, debugging, and policy implementation.
Kubernetes & Containerization:
  • Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters.
  • Proficient in deploying and managing containerized applications using Helm charts.
Scripting & Automation:
  • Strong skills in Bash/Shell scripting and Python for automation and operational tasks.
  • Experience developing automation pipelines for deployment and monitoring.
