Job Title: Technical Team Lead

Regal Beloit Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Technical Team Lead to join our team. As a Technical Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and driving continuous improvement for people and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 4-6 engineers and conduct performance evaluations, provide regular feedback, set goals, and develop training programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement for people and processes by measuring KPIs such as OTD, quality, and productivity, and taking actions to close gaps.
  • Manage workloads and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Lead and execute ETO enquiries, orders, and projects, and review and approve analysis and work done by design engineers.
  • Develop test plans from existing test protocols for products or components, and lead in capturing the voice of the customer and developing simple product specifications.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from a reputable college with a good academic record.
  • 7+ years of experience in designing industrial products, such as couplings, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, turbines, clutches, brakes, material handling equipment, or machine tools.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in people management.
  • Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications, and knowledge of creating drawings and models using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Creo, or Inventor.
  • Experience in using ERP and PLM systems is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills:
  • Advance knowledge of GD&T and drafting standards.
  • Self-motivated and capable of leading people and complex work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, decision-making, critical thinking, and planning and execution skills.
