We are a technology company with a platform that connects travelers and flights. Our team is passionate about innovation and collaboration, and we're looking for a talented Technical Lead to join our Content team.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Lead on the Content team, you will be responsible for architecting software that ensures people can find the best flight combinations. You will work closely with our development team to design and implement scalable software solutions. Your expertise in C#, .Net core, JavaScript, and TypeScript will be essential in leading our team to success.

Requirements
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in software development using C#, .Net core, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Agile development experience.
  • Prior team leading experience is a plus.
  • Strong experience in developing and integrating REST APIs, XML, JSON, and SOAP.
  • Strong architectural and system design skills.
  • Strong data storage experience with databases such as Postgres, Oracle, and MySQL.
  • Experience in GCP/AWS.
  • Experience with code review tools like SonarQube.
  • Expertise with Chrome debugger.
  • Experienced in driving ambiguous problem areas in existing or new software initiatives.
  • Proven experience in solving complex architecture and business problems with solutions that are extensible, simple, and optimal.
  • Ability to think in terms of integrating systems and networks as well as programs.
  • Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team.
  • Experience taking a leading role in building complex software systems.
  • Experience mentoring software engineers to improve their skills.
  • Experience in communicating with engineering leadership.
  • Experience in system development skills in C#, Go, Python, or similar languages.
  • Exposure to network security is a plus.
