Network Administrator Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on network performance, including ISP/DC/DR/MPLS/P2P link monitoring and availability/utilization reporting.
  • Manage firewall access, IP whitelisting, and malware IP blocking as per security best practices.
  • Review and optimize firewall rule bases, as well as monitor intrusion detection/prevention system logs and deploy signatures.
  • Configure and backup network devices, perform VLAN modifications on L2 switches, and reset network device passwords.
  • Administer user access and management, including domain ID and VPN deactivation for users.
  • Perform load balancer operations, including backup and rule configuration, as well as create new application rules.
  • Handle incidents and changes, including level 1 incident handling via email/call and preparing/implementing RFCs.
  • Develop cloud and virtualization awareness through exposure to cloud firewalls/security and understanding of ACI/AVS switch installation.
