Software Dev Manager III, Business


About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Software Development Manager to build and lead a team of Systems and Software Engineers to maintain and automate our business solutions. You will be instrumental in shaping how we leverage AI to accelerate development cycles, enhance code quality, and revolutionize how we approach problem-solving through intelligent automation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Define technical strategy and roadmap for the team
  • Incorporate AI-assisted development and automation
  • Partner with stakeholders worldwide to drive alignment and communicate status
  • Owning delivery of strategic initiatives that update, migrate, and enhance key platforms while working to accelerate development velocity and quality

Requirements:
  1. 3+ years of engineering team management experience
  2. 7+ years of engineering experience
  3. 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
  4. Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
  5. Experience partnering with product or program management teams
  6. Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
  7. Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
  8. Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
