Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Investment Manager. This role involves understanding the expansion plans of Indian companies into international markets and engaging with clients to generate leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of client propositions, geography, various sectors, business strengths of the region, tax benefits for investors, policies, and compliances.
  • Manage complete investment promotion projects for client geographies (Economic Development Organisations).
  • Conduct evaluation meetings with Indian companies/conglomerates.
  • Engage in discussions with CXOs of Indian companies and develop an understanding of their expansion plans in various international markets.
  • Identify companies with business interests to invest/expand in international markets and generate leads.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years in trade promotion bodies/expert networks/trade & investment promotion/investment attraction/SME-corporate banking/economic development/market entry with experience in business development and handling overseas clients.
  • Strong industry expertise and networks. Experience of business development is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English is required.
  • Understanding of market entry, cross-border investments, internationalization via international market expansion.
  • Experience of new business development and client handling.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Preference for master's in fields of economics, finance, international business (other disciplines will be considered where candidates can demonstrate core skills required).
  • Demonstrated ability to work inter-team, collaborate, ideate, engage with clients, and work in global teams.
