Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IBM AS400 Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the IBM AS400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming, as well as expertise in Integrated Language Environment (ILE) and Creating/Debugging RPG/CL programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and deploy robust and efficient applications on the IBM AS400 iSeries platform.
  • Create and maintain high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Provide exceptional client-facing skills for requirement gathering, design document creation, and client communication.
  • Exercise leadership skills to guide junior developers and ensure project delivery success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of IBM AS400 iSeries platform, RPGLE programming, Integrated Language Environment (ILE), and Creating/Debugging RPG/CL programs.
  • Software Development: Proficient in developing, testing, and deploying applications on the IBM AS400 iSeries platform.
  • Communication: Excellent client-facing skills for requirement gathering, design document creation, and client communication.
  • Leadership: Ability to exercise leadership skills to guide junior developers and ensure project delivery success.
