Solar Energy Research Internship

This internship offers the opportunity to work on a real-world solar power project, gaining hands-on experience in the field. The project focuses on understanding quality and trust issues between solar clients and vendors in India.

As an intern, you will be responsible for conducting client-side and vendor-side studies, collecting data through interviews and surveys, and analyzing the results to identify critical mismatch areas. Your task is to propose solutions to enhance quality assurance, transparency, and trust in the solar ecosystem.

The project involves researching and documenting common problems faced by residential clients and solar vendors during rooftop solar installation under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana. You will also work on creating a standard installation checklist for clients and a basic vendor rating system.

You will have the opportunity to learn from industry professionals and contribute to the growth of India's renewable energy market. This internship is suitable for students from various backgrounds, including engineering, management, commerce, architecture, urban planning, social science, economics, public policy, physics, environmental science, and energy studies.
