Appian BPM Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Appian Technical Lead to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performance business process management (BPM) solutions. As a key member of our technology team, you will guide the architecture and delivery of applications while mentoring developers and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of Appian BPM applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and architects to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Oversee the development lifecycle and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
- Define best practices for coding, testing, and deployment within the Appian ecosystem.
- Perform code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring high application availability and performance.
- Integrate Appian applications with external systems using Web APIs, Web Services, and other integration mechanisms.
- Prepare technical documentation including solution architecture, technical design, and support guides.
- Stay updated with Appian product enhancements and advocate for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of overall software development experience, with 4+ years of hands-on experience in Appian BPM.
- Proven experience as a technical lead in Appian-based projects.
- Appian Level 2 or 3 certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Appian architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with Appian plug-ins, CDT design, process modeler, records, reports, and sites.
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and integration techniques (REST/SOAP APIs).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good to Have Skills:
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Appian RPA, Appian AI, and Appian Process Mining is a plus.
