Job descriptionSome careers shine brighter than others If youre looking for a career that will help you stand out join HSBC and fulfil your potential Whether you want a career that could take you to the top or simply take you in an exciting new direction HSBC offers opportunities support and rewards that will take you further HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world with operations in 64 countries and territories We aim to be where the growth is enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper and ultimately helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist In this role you will Act as a Subject Matter Expert in a number of products in Regulatory Compliance End-to-end Appian BPM Workflow application development design build test deploy Collaborate with architects developers product leads to deliver suitable solutions to meet the business requirements objectives Research and evaluate products in support of the technology strategy Study design and implement products according to group standards governance and mandatory controls Work with the Engineering practice to promote development of other engineers through coaching and mentoring Ensure a high-quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices Prepare project-related documentation and provide support on compliance and audit checking Work closely with global and regional stakeholders and global development team Act as the Lead Engineer for a number of inter related products leading on service improvement initiatives incident reviews and key Technology targets Ensure service resilience service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to mandatory controls that are applicable RequirementsTo be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements Appian experience APPIAN L1 and or L2 Certification is added advantage Experience on Oracle SQL PostGRES MARIA Db SAIL Appian Development SQL Mule API Successful track record of delivery in a project delivery environment 6 yrs Strong stakeholder management skills Experience of DevOps methodology Good knowledge of Agile Scrum and DevOps tooling such as JIRA Maven Jenkins Ansible etc Strong communication and analytical skills are a must for working in a global team environment with a high level of confidence Strong decision maker and proactive self starter Experience of working within a financial organisation or a large complex organisation Preferred Passion towards technology and a strong belief in technology as a driver for business value and a key differentiator for business growth Proven track record in effective stakeholder management with ability to interact with and advise senior stakeholders Proven ability to improve developer productivity through automation AI and advanced technical skills Youll achieve more when you join HSBC www hsbc com careersHSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued respected and opinions count We take pride in providing a workplace that fosters continuous professional development flexible working and opportunities to grow within an inclusive and diverse environment Personal data held by the Bank relating to employment applications will be used in accordance with our Privacy Statement which is available on our website Issued by HSDI
