Editorial Content Creator

A skilled content creator is sought after to join our editorial team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing and publishing high-quality articles daily, fact-checking, researching, and refining content before publication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Editing and publishing 18-20 articles per day, ensuring the highest level of quality that meets industry standards.
  • Fact-checking, researching, and refining articles before publication, maintaining accuracy and precision at all times.
  • Collaborating with writers, editors, and other professionals in a fast-paced newsroom environment to refine and elevate content.
  • Mentoring junior staff members and contributing to their growth as contributors to the team.
  • Staying up-to-date on breaking news and events, providing readers with the most current and informative content available.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Media/Journalism, or similar field.
  • 6-12 months of experience in sports content editing, proofreading, or similar role.
  • Strong command of the English language and understanding of American culture.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles, including crafting engaging headings and subheadings.
  • Leadership skills to inspire and guide a team of talented writers.
