Motion Graphic Designer Opportunity in Sports Broadcast

We are seeking a skilled Motion Graphics Designer with experience in sports broadcast design to join our creative team. This role will focus on developing dynamic graphics for horse racing coverage, blending live data and storytelling into engaging visual presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and animate custom motion graphics for horse racing broadcasts.
  • Collaborate with producers, editors, and analysts to translate racing data into compelling visuals.
  • Develop graphics templates for fast turnaround and live updates during race events.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and network standards.
  • Troubleshoot graphics in live broadcast environments and support technical integration with real-time systems.
  • Maintain a library of reusable templates, assets, and branded elements.
  • Stay current with industry trends, motion design tools, and sports coverage formats.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in motion graphics design, preferably within sports broadcasting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience with real-time broadcast graphics platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of sports design aesthetics, particularly horse racing data (odds, timings, jockey statistics, race cards).
  • Solid grasp of typography, color theory, pacing, and motion design principles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with rapid turnaround.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
  • A portfolio or demo reel showcasing high-quality motion graphics work, ideally in live or sports television.
