We are seeking a skilled Social Designer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing content for social media platforms, including Instagram carousels, reels covers, short video graphics, and YouTube thumbnails. They will also maintain and evolve the company's social brand guidelines, typography, color, iconography, and illustration style.
Responsibilities- Design daily social content: Instagram carousels, reels covers, short video graphics, YouTube thumbnails, story templates, creatives, and WhatsApp broadcast art.
- Maintain the visual system: Ensure consistency in the company's social brand guidelines, typography, color, iconography, and illustration style.
- Create engaging visuals: Translate content briefs into clear visual narratives, data visuals, and memes that are easy to grasp and fun to share.
- Motion & video support: Create lightweight motion graphics (titles, lower-thirds, transitions) and edit simple reels when needed.
- Data-informed design: Iterate based on performance metrics (shares, saves, CTR, watch time) with rapid A/B tests (e.g., two thumbnail variants).
- Collaborate: Work closely with content, copy, and performance teams to align on campaign objectives and timelines.
- 2–5 years of hands-on social design experience for consumer brands or media (finance/fintech is a plus).
- A strong portfolio of Instagram-first work (carousels, thumbnails, short-form graphics, data illustrations).
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator); basic After Effects/Premiere for motion.
- Comfort with data visualization (turning numbers into clean, digestible graphics).
- Solid typography & layout fundamentals, with sharp attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to work in fast sprints, manage multiple briefs, and deliver on deadlines.
- Fluency in English; working knowledge of Hinglish tone for culturally relevant posts.
