Job Title: Supply Chain Planning Specialist

This is a key role in our organization responsible for developing and implementing effective supply chain strategies. The successful candidate will lead the distribution planning process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to multiple branch warehouses across various product categories.

To be successful in this position, you will need a strong understanding of supply chain principles, including demand planning, inventory management, and logistics coordination.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, operations management, or supply chain management
  • At least 2 years of experience in supply chain planning or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you should possess a proactive mindset, with the ability to balance cost, availability, and service levels.

This role requires a high level of autonomy, with the ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Distribution planning and execution
  2. Product availability and planning frameworks
  3. Inventory management and policy
  4. Optimization of dispatch and stock flow
  5. Replenishment and fill rates
  6. Slow-moving and obsolete inventory management
  7. Stakeholder management and warehouse and logistics coordination
  8. Reporting and continuous improvement
