Veterinary Pathologist Career Opportunity

Job Overview:

A Veterinary Pathologist is required to collaborate with our team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing test item-related findings and preparing reports for regulatory submission.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct gross and microscopic examination of tissues and organs to identify test compound-related changes.
  • Interpret pathology data and prepare detailed pathology reports.
  • Serve as a study pathologist for various non-clinical toxicology studies, including pharmaceuticals, biologics, and agrochemicals.
  • Provide technical expertise to the study plan and monitor animal euthanasia protocols.
  • Evaluate blood cell morphology, RBC, WBC, and platelet counts, and bone marrow smear for M:E ratio and bone marrow differential count.
  • Peer review of pathology data performed by other pathologists.
  • Ensure compliance with proper documentation as per regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-4 years.
  • Education: MVSc.
  • Key Skills and Qualifications: Ability to interpret test item-related findings and report preparation for regulatory submission; knowledge of basic toxicology, laboratory animal science, and regulatory guidelines.
